Making Equine Ultrasound Safe and Affordable For Breeders

After you hit “Freeze” you are able to back up in time, as far back as 256 frames (or about 10 seconds). The way you back up is by scrolling your trackball to the left or by pressing the “Cine” button.

What this means for you is: you don’t have to be lightning quick on pressing “Freeze.” When you get a good image on the screen, hold it a second or so, and then work to improve it a bit. If you can — great. If you can’t, or if the mare moves, or if you lose the image — no worries: simply “Freeze” the image and then roll your track ball back to the left to back up in time to when you had a good image on the screen.

Note: When you press the CINE button to play and pause the cineloop, you can also Cine Speed to slow down or speed up the playback. When the video reaches the area you think your best image is located, simply press CINE again to pause the playback, and then use the track ball to scroll backward or forward, frame by frame, to find just the right image you want to work with.
